National Parks In The Bay Area

Explore the Parks

Surrounding the San Francisco Bay Area are eight other national park sites that preserve and interpret our country’s natural and cultural legacies.  These Bay Area national parks include diverse stories and resources such as an old-growth redwood forest, World War II home front heroes and heroines, a Civil War-era fort, a national seashore, and the residence of a world-famous American playwright.
